Blogger Questions and Answers

Image
Kate on Thin Ice And Groovy Mums has tagged me in a Q & A meme. So the idea is that the person who tags you makes their own set of questions that they want answered. Then once you've answered them, you get to make up your own questions and tag your own favourite bloggers to answer them! That way...it never goes stale. 1. If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about mums' lives today, what would it be and why? Hmm this one is easy i think, i would be able to super multi task and have eyes in the back of my head, lets admit it we need them. 2. How many hours or minutes of housework do you do per day? I probably do about 1 and a half hours every day apart from Monday which i spend about 4 hours doing a full weekly clean. 3. If you could change careers, what would you change to? I have had many from working in retail to modeling to atm childcare. The most enjoyable was working as a trainee lawyer, i think though i would love to be a midwife. 4. What ...

A stress free month?!....

For the people that kind of know me they should know for me to do stress free....is soooo easy. Well it is until babies enter the equation . As you can tell from many of my posts i have tried near enough EVERTHING . Yeah OK there are a few other things i want to check/try too. Think I'm crazy yet?? Well with the cervical mucus and cervix checking...oh check out www.mybeautifulcervic.com anyone that wants to do bbt and cm checking, very graphic but amazing non the less. Then theres the ovulation tests, sperm meets egg plan, legs in the air after sex, oh boy that can be funny! To taking certain medicines ie folic acid, b6 etc. Then there is the 'new' thing to have come about which is Paradox capsules which is different blends of fish oils. These apparently make your eggs 'more suitable', also Soy iso which if I'm right brings ovulation forward for those ladies (like myself) that have irregular cycles. OK so now you know just how nutty i am! I try...

Poetic Thursday

Here are a few to tantalise your tastebuds.... DARREN SARDELLI'S NEW POEMS Little Boy Blue Little Boy Blue, please cover your nose. You sneezed on Miss Muffet and ruined her clothes. You sprayed Mother Hubbard and now she is sick. You put out the fire on Jack’s candle stick. Your sneeze is the reason why Humpty fell down. You drenched Yankee Doodle when he came to town. The blind mice are angry! The sheep are upset! From now on use tissues so no one gets wet! My Dog Ate My Essay My doggy ate my essay, he picked up all my mail. He cleaned my dirty closet and dusted with his tail. He straightened out my posters and swept my wooden floor. My parents almost fainted when he fixed my bedroom door. I did not try to stop him. He made my windows shine. My room looked like a palace. My jackets smelled like pine. He fluffed up every pillow. He folded all my clothes. He even cleaned my fish tank with a toothbrush and a hose. I thought it was amazing to see him use a broom. I’m g...

Older to younger....

On a nice leisurely walk to my M.I.L's i was having the odd random chat that parents have with their children. My 8 year old son was telling me how he is classed as a geek. "Mom i do super awesome in Maths and Literacy and in Ict . what did my report say?! Super awesome !, only thing I'm not good at is handwriting, I'm a geek mom because I'm a computer whiz ." As i tried to explain without laughing as the enthusiasm in his voice was just.....funny as, he wasn't a geek it would be classed as intelligent. It means when he leaves school he can go to Uni...."no mom I'm going to college first!" Ok college then University, where as people that arnt very good at things and not that bothered about them will leave school and do nothing or something along those lines. This leads into a discussion about volcano's!!!!!! Yes wth ?? major jump from one subject to another, this is something of the ordinary when speaking with my son. So as ...

Catch up from this week!

So its been one of those long weeks, yes i know its not even over yet! My darling stepson turned 10 yesterday!! Yay Happy Birthday Lucas!! His mom usually does him a party of some sort every year along with his sister whom shares the same birth date. However this year on his 10Th...his double numbers...his lead into teenage years, she didn't! So we swiftly decided on Friday last to throw him a small tea party type thing, nothing huge just some food and balloons and a few of his friends from the estate...sounds so common that doesn't it lol..but alas its quite posh if i say so myself! Its a lovely estate with only one entrance (unless of course you jump over the bordering fence!) Anyways...his face was a picture when he saw the banners and balloons on the door...a surprise party...check! Good pressies...check! Super dooper buns made by yours truly....check! Friends to attend...check! A large Glass or bottle should i say of wine for me once the children have all gone home and the...

Reaches for the whiskey......

Its been one of those nights tonight...kids have...well havent really....but they have taken hours to clean their rooms, and they are still not done. How messy can a kids room get seriously. Now some may call me 'tight' as my two say, for not cleaning their rooms for them, but they are 8 and 9 (10 in 2 week) and are able....infact more than bloody able if they concentrated to do it themselves. My eldest seems to have a fetish sort of thing with paper. He has masses and so does the floor, toy boxes, warldrobe, the bin thats in his room oh and under the bed! SO tonight after seeing it all over i decided paper was banned from his room. The other son just has a fear of tidying his bedroom fully. Lol. So me been me when in all rearing and cleared out all the toy boxes, ynder the bed etc etc....what a mess!! Whilst all that was happening i decide to have a look on Facebook. One of my friends that has been trying to concieve for 4 years is 13w 3 days preg....she had posted her scan pi...

Stressful Tuesday!

Image
Its been one of those days i tell you. One where if anyone else smiles nicely at you and ask's how your day is like everything is OK you are bound to stand up scream, shout and tear you hair out. Its not a good day! Its a shit day, not only is it the longest day of the year and supposedly mid summers day and someone forgot to remind the weather of this when i nicely got rained on, on the school run...but boy where do we start! Well as you know from my recent posts over the past few weeks i had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago. After an erpc my hcg levels weren't dropping how they should be and i was suffering from stomach pains and bleeding. My results from the erpc showed no pregnancy tissue was removed but a scan showed all was clear. So in the time of having my initial scan and the erpc i had 'passed' my bean. However this didn't explain why i was having these problems still 7 weeks after. So after numerous blood tests i was today given antibiotics as they think it ma...

A cocktail of drugs

It seems to be one of those days where i have the good old 'writers block'. Well to a certain degree i do. I have many things on my mind that i want to write about and i can write it all and then read it and I'm like hmmm...nah and scrap it. Its been a pretty rough weekend tbh. I attended what seems to be my second home on Sunday for more routine blood tests after my erpc on the 13th may, only to have to return later that night with sever stomach pains. Labour pains!!! bah they didn't have a notch on this. I was paralysed with the pain it was that bad. After sitting in A&E for 5 hours, a few more vales of blood taken i was sent home with Dihydrocodeine and Diclofenac. Felt sorry for my Dh as he had to be at work at 6 am that morning, we got in at 3.45! Sending my now drowsy son to bed i make a coffee and sat on the sofa wide awake. Typical. We spoke of what had happened in a&e, the wait times, the way they sit you in one room to wait and then move you onto the n...

A new beginning, a light at the end of a tunnel.

Well all good news , or so I think so. Went for my second scan today and all is perfectly clear. There are NO retained pregnancy products there. Which is such a relief really. My hcg levels arnt dropping as fast as they would like but are dropping so that's good. Just have to repeat the bloods again in a few days to double check. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Today has been a mad rush if I'm honest. I don't feel like I have stopped. From paying the bills to shopping, to having to drink a pint of water to the scans . To been stabbed with a needle once again, I really feel like a pin cushion, to picking my son up from his 'adoptive' grandfathers, to visiting friends but constantly checking phone for news on blood results to coming home....breath....to feeding kittens, cleaning up, cooking tea and finally relaxing with a glass of wine whilst checking my mails and typing this blog, not to mention a few games of free bingo on che...
